Dummy tax code

hai all,

I created a purchase order for a non excisable material without giving the tax code. But while doing the migo it is asking for tax code.

Why is the system asking for the tax code even though i didnt enter in the purchase order?

If i have to enter a dummy tax code, what is meant by dummy tax code?

    HI,

As tax is mandatory in MIRO as per your system so you have to maintain the tax code with zero value. it will be the dummy code only.

    that will solve your problem.

dummy tax code means if the material is not liable to any tax then u need create one tax code and in there do not maintain any value against any condition type

For taxable Material you have to use relevant Taxes.. and for the Non Taxable Materials you have to use Zero tax Conditions..

Create a ZERO tax condition in FTXP trxn & use it in MIRO...

    Hi

In TAXINN we have to use a taxcode even for zero tax condition. Also taxcode will be required to fetch the g/l account of the taxes to be posted and system will check for the taxcode for all the transaction and hence we maintain a taxcode for zero % as well.

Since we use for zero% we call it dummy

    Hi,

Dummy Tax Code is nothing but the Tax code which will be used against material which is none- taxable.

there are some transaction which cannt be process without tax code like MIRO.here you can use dummy tax code to process your Invoice.

System will not asked for any tax code when you will process your MIGO.

    hope it helps...
