Dear all,

I hv one doubt in consignment process.

Suppose One customer is having 50 pcs of one item as consignment stock.

Customer consumes 10 pcs and and is billed for that.

Now he want to return 2 pcs bcoz of "damage"

Thro consignment return process ,goods issue is done and 2 pcs taken to consignment stock again(stock now is 42)

Now Customer dont want to consume these stocks(all 42) and and goods are taken back thro o Consignment pick up.

So all 42 will be added to unrestricted use??? wht abt the damaged 2 pcs? which should actually appear as return or damage..

Not clear and have a feeling that you have not briefed clearly.

Please go through your below comments once again

As you may be aware in consignment process, the first stage is fillup in which, if there is any return, we will call it as Consignment Pickup. In this stage, goods are called back from your warehouse.

Similarly, in the second stage, you are delivering the goods to end customer and after this stage, if there are any rejects from customer, we call it as Consignment Return.

Now coming to your post, if I am correct, on the highlighted comments first cited above, it could have been consignment pickup and not consignment return as mentioned by you. Moreover, all returns should be blocked for quality clearance and should not be received directly in Unrestricted.

Hi

First of all the process you have explaned here is little bit wrong

Out OF 50 consignment fillup and 10 is sold is consignment issue the balance 40 is consignment pick up

The 2 units returned out of that 10 sold will be consignment returens

You cant club it as 42

It will be 40 consignment pick up and 2 will be consignment returns

consignment pick up schedule line cat is F0 and the movement type is 632

consignment returns schedule line cat is D0 and the movement type is 634

For this two units out of consignment returns you want you want to transfer to QI then in VOV6 against D0 change the movementb type to 655

Then on return it will move for quality inspection

hi

If u have QM they will inspect the goods while doing returns delivery.

then the damaged stock can be posted to inspection stock and the balance as unrestricted stock
