Shipment should not allow delivery quantity over/above vehicle capacity.

During Bulk Scheduling & Load confirmation, the shipment should not allow delivery quantity to be

less than the Vehicle Capacity.

1. How this is to be handled.

2. Is there any UserExits for same.

Hi,

Practically, what you can do is to set the undelivery and overdelivery check in TD.

It can be set for each shipment type used in the following path in SPRO:

SPRO --> Industry Oil & Gas (Downstream) --> TD --> TD Bulk Shipment --> Define Delivery Tolerance Message Level

You can set in each shipment type 1 (for warning message) and 2 (for error message).

This is at most what you can achieve in TD.

Hope this helps.

Thnx,

As per your Solution, incase the Delivery doc is of 20KL & the Load confirmation is made for 15 KL, it would prompt with a relevant message.

What we would need is :

Vehicle capacity is of 20 KL.

2 deliveries are of 10 KL each.

Bulk Scheduling is being done with the 2 deliveries.

Loading Confirmation should not be of less/more than 20 KL.

Would appreciate your solution.

Hi Srinivasan,

In your bulk shipment type config you can flag the check for overloading box so that system checks if the quantity you scheduled/loaded is more than the capacity of the vehicle.

I understand that you want to maximize the use of the vehicle by loading it up to its maximum capacity. I am not aware though of a functionality that checks for underloading, perhaps a user exit has to be developed for this one,

Hope this helps,

Hi,

If you create a load confirmation for 10 KL you have to do delivery confirmation of 10 KL. if you want to do overdelivery or underdelivery you need to enter reason code in vehicle balance tab like intransit gain or intransit loss. this should be under tolerence limit specified in SPRO.

Secondly. you can do any quanity of load confirmation with the less capacity vehicle by using compartment planning tab. If vehicle cpacity is 10 KL and you want to do load confirmation of 20 KL. select 2 compartment it will allow to do so.
