Want to understand the meaning of this url?

Hi,

I am working in Java Web Dynpro and Enterprise Portal.

Please check this url:

http://localhost:53000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prteventname/Navigate/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fevery_user!2fgeneral!2fdefaultDesktop!2fframeworkPages!2fframeworkpage!2fcom.sap.portal.innerpage!2fcom.sap.portal.contentarea?NavigationTarget=ROLES%3A%2F%2Fportal_content%2FMDM-DM-IVIEW%2FSDN_DM_IVIEW&externalRequestEvent=com.sap.pct.mdm.appl.masteriviews.events.externals.SetSelectedIdHandler&id=

localhost would be replaced by kolapon and port would be 50000.

Regards

    Hi Kaushik,

These URL are desigend to communicate between different portal objects, basically these url contains source and destination information of portal objects(or call it a link between two objects or Road to connect two object)

if you are asking for what is local host and prot no then just go thru SDN will get lots of information about it.

    Thanks

What do you mean by "understand"? It is not really designed for a human to process, but it basically tells the portal what to put into the content area of the portal.
