Quota generation for new hire -based on date of joining

Hi,

If an employee is joining after of 15 any month then need to calculate quota from the first day of the next month else calculate the quota from the first day of the current month.

Similar conditions for separation also.

I am suing RPQTA00 FOR QUOTA GENERATION.

For this I thought of using EXIT_SAPLHRLV_006 to change the hiring date on quota generation to accordingly.

As this is given that..

*" CHANGING

*" REFERENCE(XHIRED) TYPE DATUM

*" REFERENCE(XFIRED) TYPE DATUM

But this is getting over written. I think this is a common scenario. Pls help to understand, what will be the best way to achieve this

    Hi,

For this dont go user exit.

You can ask your abaper they can write some coding in RPTQTA00 report.

They can copy this RPTQTA00 to ZRPTQTA00. Here they can chnage. problem has to be solved.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Revathi.

      Hi Revathi,

I would like to address this thru standard SAP,bcos I am sure that there will be some standard work around.

I will wait the comments from other experts also, nothing works out then I will make it as Z.

    Hi,

Why dont you plan to use date specifications(IT0041) for this.If an employee joins on or before 15th of a month, the frist day of the next month or the first day of the current month will be stored against a custom date type in IT0041 and the same will be used for Quota generation in configuration.
