Hi Experts,

In IT2001 Screen we have the following fields..

1. Absence days

2. Quota used

What is the difference between these two

Ideally Absence days and quota used should be same right?

For me its showing me different numbers.

Hi,

They are different b'coz you may not want all the absence days to be deducted from quota.

E.g. One of your employees work in a public holiday and a yearly absence of her (5 days) is including that public holiday. Although she has a absence days of 5 days, deducting 5 days from quota may be unfair to her thus you deduct 4 days from the quota.

You make all these adjustments using Counting Rules (SPRO : Time Man -> Time Data Rec & Admin -> Absence -> Absence Catalog -> Absence Counting -> Rules (New) -> Define counting rules).

Incase you do quota compensation (416) both can be different.

Technically, you can configure that for each day of absence day, reduce 2 quotas.

I do agree that if you are creating 200% you can make the single absence day as 2 quota used .

But if I am keeping 100 % both should be same right?.

Or any other config I need to check?
