Complaint Creation with External Reference

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement of creating complaint with reference to Billing Document

Could you please let me know the steps to replicate the R3 Billing docs to CRM???

As far my knoweldge goes with the implementation of Badi CRM_COPY_BADI_EXTERN ( which is also been discussed in this forum earlier ) should help us in referencing to R3 Billing Doc.

This Badi has standard imeplementation CRM_COPY_BADI_BILLDO which is active currently. I guess we will have to use method MAPPING_FOR_EXTERNAL_DOC . Even after this we are unble to create complaint with Reference to R3 Billing.

Are we missing any steps further to this? Can anybody please let me know the steps?

Do we need to have our own implementation of this Badi to refer R3 Billing document???

Any input will highly be appreciated

    Which version of CRM and ECC are you on?

    As of [CRM 5.0 SP 07, Complaints with Reference to Billing Documents, Returns, and Used Part Returns|https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700001389072008E/RN_CRM_60_03_EN.pdf] - is available. But see the restrictions yourself to see if this will work for you.

    But remember, even in this case R/3 billing documents never get downloaded to CRM. But you can still watch this thread to get an idea of how the R/3 billing can be downloaded in CRM billing through External Document idea in

      Hi Easwar,

      Thanks for the reply.

      We are currently using CRM 2007 and ECC6.

      I got to know that for Billing Document reference from R3 we will have to use the implmentation similar to

      CRM_COPY_BADI_R3LORD and still we are working on it and trying to figure out.

      And regarding the link you sent, I am already there in the interaction

      Further information from other members would help us to a great extent.

    Hi Arup,

    Can you please guide me what you did in the method MAPPING_FOR_EXTERNAL_DOC, I need to populate the Items and Partners data in the Web UI. A sample code will be well appreciated.

    Could you please share the document or if you can provide the steps to map the invoice document details to CRM fields.
