Hi SAP Gurus,

I have following questions and wish to know more about the same.

1. What is Condition Index and where it is used.

2. If i want to control the special discount for first 10 orders for every day as a campaign. How configure this.

Hi

Condition index is very useful for searching the condition record for a customer.

It becomes easier and faster to search for condition records for a customer or material just like it become easier to search a topis in the book with help of index.

You have to mark the "condition index" check box in the condition type and you have to activate the index in customisation.

you can set the discount for fast ten orders through "condition update".

First, in your discount condition type(V/06) activate the "condition update" check box.

Second, in the condition record, in additional data put "maximum number of orders" as 10.

You may also create the condition record for discount through VK31. Now go to change(VK32), scroll to the right, you will find a column "N". This is maximum number of order field. Here you can put value 10 and save it.

Now, system will give the discount to the first 10 orders.

But to run it regularly every day, I hope you mayneed to take technical help.

If it is an immediate requirement , then every day you change the validity of the condition record by which it will serve your purpose and in the meantime you may get other suggestions how to do it regularly every day.
