MAP price is displayed when the price control is S

Hi,

I have set price control S for standard price in a material but in addition to the standard price the system is also displaying a moving price in the accounting view of the material. Why shd it display a moving price when the price control is S?

    Hi,

If you maintain Standard price S than also the system will calculate Moving avg price. This is not effect the valuation. The valuation will be done with S .

When ever you want to change your Standard price that time it is helful to find the market price.

    Hi,

System will always display the MAP with standard price.

    1) With every transaction MAP will be updated but standard price will be fixed.

    2) We can know the difference between standard price & variable price for future correction if we are not using costing.

    Regards,

    Umesh

    Hi,

As per standard SAP system updates the MAP whenever you select print control as S.

    This is standard SAP.

But it will not update standrad price whenever you select price control V(moving avg price)

    Regards

    Ravi Shankar.

    Hi

SAP provided eventhough you select Standard price. it shows both the prices

MAP will not reflect any where.

To have some idea for the user. In future based on this if it is need you can change price control
