Dear All,
I have down loaded the trail version of Crystal report 10 days back, was using the same till yesterday. Now when I try to create a report I get a message "LOGON FAILED", on my machine. But using the same product key if I logon in another machine it works.
What could be the reason for the same?
Any Answer??

Hi K Sengupto
The particular error message indicates that you are not able to connect to the database.
- When exactly you are facing this error message?
- Which connection type are you using?ODBC,OLEDB or native connection?
- If you are using DSN then try to create a new DSN and then connect to the database.
Let me know the updates so that we can procced further with this issue.
Regards
Asha.

Hey Have you tried to create a sample report by using the default database, i.e. Extreme sample database.
If you were sucessfull to create that then try to create a new DSN.
Else you have no problem with crystal sample report then create new DSN connection and try to create a report, still if you are facing any problem then it is suggested to re-install the crystal version again because any of your Dll files might be corrupted.

Hi Kritarthajeet,
There may be a problem with the DSN. Try creating a new DSN and then connect to the database.
Hope this helps you!
