transfer location from one plant to other

Dear sirs,

we are maintain stock of Furnace Oil in Tanks.... we want to change the location from one plant to other

by my fault it creates in another plant

can it be possible to change.... if yes then how...? pls write the steps how to do....

in batch change msc2n it displays furnace oil doesn't maintain in batches.

    hi,

    1) If you want to transfer material from one plant to another plant then you can use 301 movement type if both plants are in same company code

    2) If you want to transfer material from one storage location to another then you can use 311 movement type.

      Hi,

      Even without maintaining the slocation view in MMR you can make a transfer posting.

      tcode--OMB2

      plant,movement type for which slocation has to be created automatically during GI and transfer postings..

      Maintain your recieving plant and movement type 301.
