No SID found for value 'MSH ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM

Hi All

When I try to load the Materials data from 2LIS 03 BF to ODS, while activation it is throwing me the following error :

No SID found for value 'MSH ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM.

Diagnosis:

Characteristic value MSH does not exist in the master data table of

characteristic 0BASE_UOM . Therefore, this value could not be

transformed into the internal SID.

Also, I checked in the table T006 but MSH is not present. What I should do to add that UoM to the table?????

Hello.

1. Go to tr RSA13 (or RSA1 - Source systems).

2. Find your ERP (R/3) system and right click on it.

3. Choose "Tranfer global settings".

4. Check units of measurement

5. Then try again your dataloading.

Hi,

Use update mode..it will update the tables.

but have you check if this vaoue is maintained in the table T006 in R/3 which is stored in R/3.

It will get pulled from there only

Hi

The best option would be with the T006 table setting. Try to add this in the SPRO under unit of measure and that will be added to the T006 table.

Update Mode. T006 table should be added with that value As I said before thread also.

Try Adding field MSEHI (Unit of Measurement) to table T006 -- SE11 with the help of ABAP team.

Hi,

I checked my system there is no master data defined for this info objct. Try by changing the masters in source system.

I think no master data is available for that, 1st load related master data and then go for transaction data, then activate it.

Hi

Try to transfer the Global settings as Alexander said.

You can even run the Tcode-- RSUOM for the Qty Conversion types.
