Handling unit with WM

Hi,

Could you please Explian the Following things:

1)in spro-LG-HUM-define movement types for inventory posting adjustments why we need this ?

what is main purpose of this pls explain with business scenario.

2)I did the PGI then i found for one Handling unit's serial number not assigned completely so i did the reversal through vl09 suceesfully.in mmbe we can see the stock also but still respective Handling unit no status saying PSTD(goods delivered to customer) .why this happend?

3)what is diff Handling unit with Warehouse Management and without Warehouse management

    Hi,

    For your questions:

    • 1. Here you should define the physical inventory movement type for each stock category with handling unit management, it's used for posting inventory difference with HUs, if no special customizing, you can leave it blank;

    • 2. Before post good issue you must do packaging in advance, otherwise can't get the HU number.

    • 3. From Handling Unit Management side, there is not differenc between with WM and without WM! Because a handling unit is physical combination of materials of consisting of packaging materials and goods, that's it!
