SUS without EBP

Hello folks,

I am new to SRM, we are planning to implement SRM next year, using Ariba right now integrated with ECC 5.0, have a request from business to create customized a Vendor Self-service system.

Question is, can we use SUS component of SRM for vendor self service without initially using EBP, I would like to avoid creating a custom application and ripping it out a year later wheh SRM is implemented.

Your input is much appreciated.

Regards,

Imran

Hi Claudia,

Appreciate your quick response, so just to reiterate my understanding, we can use only SUS in SRM for vendor self-service functions without using EBP functionality ? Meaning we can still use Ariba for creating shopping carts etc integrated into ECC, and also have SUS integrated to ECC for vendor self-service ?

Also, can you elaborate a bit on ICH, will SUS be replaced by ICH in the future ?

Can you point me to some useful documentation regarding SUS and ICH ?

Thanks very much for your help.

Regards,

Imran

Hi Imran,

yes, you can use the SUS functionality without any EBP functionality. When you have an Ariba system, you need to connect these to or via ECC to get the process wanted. Depends on your requirements.

For configuring SUS, the related scenario is the SUS-MM scenario.

ICH - Inventory Collaboration Hub, or the new name Supplier Network Collaboration can be searched via the SCM module. SUS is not further developed. The system stays in the status it is. All efforts are taken within ICH / SNC and it get all functions in one module.

Yes, you can. Use SUS in combination with ECC by the SUS MM Scenario.

Depending on your implementation timeframe, think about and have a look into SCM ICH or also known as SNC, as SUS is not further developed. Any enhancements are done in ICH and SUS is going to die.
