Does SuccessFactors Time Off stop Male employees selecting 'Maternity' absence type?

Hello,

SAP ERP did not allow Male employees to select Absence Type 'Maternity; similarly, Female employees were unable to select Absence Type 'Paternity'. Does SF have the same validation? If not, has anyone built validation around these absence types?

Many thanks for your response, as always!!

For the implementation I am doing, there are 80 countries for this Organisation. We have a Time Profile for each country based upon the Time Types available per country. Would you therefore suggest having to create a Time Profile for Males, and a Time Profile for Females, for each country?

Each employee has a "time profile" assigned for time off. Part of this profile are the "time types". So you would have time type "maternity leave" only assigned to a time profile(s) for female employees. Make sense?
