Migrate: BOE R2 to EDGE 3.0

Hi,

I am pretty new with BOE and sorry if this question is clearly explained earlier here..

But I am doing a migration from BOE R2 and to an Edge 3.0.

First I took a copy of the FileStore and a backup of the R2 CMS repo. Then I did an uninstall of BOE R2 and an install of the Edge software. I only got one server available. Now I want to do an import and migrate from the old repo and to the new edge cmsrepo. But the migrate wizzard seems to only migrate from one CMS system to another, not from one repo to another..

Any ideas, routines for doing that ?

Yes what you need to do is a CCM DB copy which will copy the records from the old CMS DB to the new one, then restore your FRS, and run update objects in the CCM(should be blinking). Hopefully that will work. The import wizard as you noticed requires at least 2 active CMS's
