SAP Multiconnect to Oracle not working.

Hi,

I am trying to do a multi connect to an external oracle database.

Our SAP is on SQL server and we are on ECC6.0 and I have done all the settings in DBCO and also all the settings based on the SAP Note 339092 - DB MultiConnect with Oracle as secondary database.

Still if I try to connect through native SQL I get the following error. Any Ideas?

Runtime Errors DBIF_DSQL2_CONNECTERR

Except. CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR

Short text

Error setting up a secondary database connection

What happened?

Connection to database system not possible with identifier "SMQS".

Thanks and Regards,

Mahesh.

Have you installed dboraslib.dll in your kernel directory?

check dev_w* (where * is your dialog process number),.

You will get more info on your error.
