In SWO1 not finding the parameters under the parameters tab

Hi Experts,

I am new to work flow. I am having a sample workflow and trying to implement another one like it. But i have a doubt in it.

In SWO1, I am creating a object and declaring a method in it. In the method I am declaring a function module having 1 import and 10 export parameters.

Now after declaring it, when i am going back to the PARAMETERS tab for the method, in SWO1 I am not finding the import or export parameters declared there.

My second doubt is can anyone please say what is the difference between modelled and implemented?

Asnwers clearing my doubt will be given points.

Thanks & Regards,

Priti Rani Patnaik

    Hi Priti,

I didnt get what you are tyring to say. Is that a custom method? have you clicked the parameters option present in the BO. Correct me if i am wrong.

Those parameters are not method parameters, but event parameters. In method you need to use the syntax SWC_GET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'CONTAINER NAME' CONTAINER NAME & SWC_SET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'CONTAINER NAME' CONTAINER NAME in order to import and export to values to and from method.

Let me know if you have any queries.

    Regards,

    Raj

    Hi Priti,

As u have created one method in ur BO.

In parameter tab -> there is a button for parameter creation.

U have to create parameter there itself

which u r using in ur Function module

The following are the different development statuses of a BO/BO Component:

Modeled - Only defined (the method and its signature)

Implemented - ABAP implementation is done, can be used for testing or internal use

Released - Method ready to be used

Obsolete - Attribute / Method / Event not to be used anymore

    Hope it helps u!

    Regards,

    Mamta

    Hi Priti,

You have done the other way always before method implimentation click parameters and create all your parameters so that when you go to the methos you can see the parameters SET and get declared there.

If you declare in code you cannot find it in parameters.you have to create it there once again.

Better Use implemented and then release.
