regarding passing of parametera from date and to date in XL Reporter

hi,

I am creating a report in XL where i have to show

Cust Group 1 cust group 2....

product category total Sale Price(Price * qty) total Sale Price(Price * qty)......

I am able to group and show the correct total sale value, but when i am setting parameter from date and to date in transaction row to the whole excel sheet then also it is showing the entilr total sales and not based on the given date frame. So how to apply parameters to the value so that the correct sale value between the dates show up..

Kindly help

    Hi Priya,

You need to select the detail data row to find the group by. If you have multiple Group By, you should select all of them one by one. A formula is needed in the Group By like: DocDate > @DateParam

    Thanks,

Make sure that you check both your innner and outer row groupings and make sure your parameter is applied to both. You can do so by going to your Advanced Report Writer and click (blue is active) and checking your syntax.
