Is this possible?

My customer have a requirement for contracts for annual/quarterly/monthly time and quantity contracts.

For example, a contract is raised BP C0001 for 100 tons of product X. My customer wants to be able to u2018call offu2019 20 tons of product X every month for 5 months.

We have suggested they use a Quotation for the Contract and Sales Orders to handle the individual amounts of 20 tons. The customer can then see that there are 80 tons remaining on the quotation (contract) in Open Items.

However, the customer also needs to be able to send parts of the contracted amount to different BPs. For example, create a quotation for 100 tons for Customer A, but copy to, say 5 Sales Orders of 20 tons for Customers B, C, D, E and F (who are divisions of customer A but seperate legal entities).

If we change the BP on the copied to Sales Order, we lose the link to the quotation. Also, if we use different "Sold To" parties, the eventual invoice goes to Customer A's account rather than Customer B for example.

I believe that Business One as standard cannot handle this. Do you know of any Add-Ons which would do the job? Or could this be done via some bespoke work?

Thanks

Greig

    Greig,

Have you tested consolidate BP functions? Even though it will not completely meet you requirements, it can handle some parts at least.

    Thanks,

    Gordon
