Deletion of adhoc queries.

Hi All,

we have a scnario wherein, a query catalog is created for a user. The catalog contains many adhoc queries, the user can delete or retain them. After the query is deletd or retained, a entry is generated in a Z table. Is there any FM or Prgrm which can automate this process of deleting the entry from the Z table over a period of time?.

Thanks & Regards,

Nikhil.S

The TCode for deleting Queries is RSZDELETE - you can maybe look into the program and try using the same for creating a program for yourself.

    It is

    • Nikhil,

the inputs can be of many types for this FM - you can delete a variable , query , structure etc etc and you can even delete queries based on their GUIDs.

You need to go through the selection parameters and find out which one you need. If you notice the program - it does a deletion for each set of elements selected in the pop up and if you want to delete queries based on technical names - you can directly use that part of the program alone and that would make passing the parameters easy.
