Hey,
I need to make a query in query designer that shows the current position code(working temporarily upon) and previous position code(actual position) for all employees under temporary work assignment. I have "Position" under characteristics and working fine in BOBj report. The problem is I don't know how to get a new column in BOBj reflecting the previous position in the same row where we are reflecting the current position(scenario: employee promoted temporarily for a role). As "Position" is nothing but codes assigned (which can be random too); how should I proceed in query designer with this?
