I need to setup a system to use Periodic Inventory.
In this case, will the inventory valuation methods (Mov. Avg, standard, fifo) work ?
How will the inventory valuation report calculate prices in this case ? (since at settings, and at itme master level, inventory valuation is not available, if not using perpetual inventory)
Please share your thoughts ..
Well, that is there for perpetual inventory only. You don't have Moving, nor Average for periodic inventory.

I have already answered. Once you selected periodic, it means you gave up everything. You don't have any inventory movements. Where can you find any Moving Average ?
Thanks,
Gordon

Inventory valuation methods will only apply to perpetual inventory. If you want to use Periodic, it just simply means you do not care about inventory movement. You only take a picture of inventory status in predefined period.

Gordon
