BP cannot be changed, how can I do?

Dear all,

I have a organization, when I enter BP to change its name, and found the Change Button cannot be used, and there is a icon name 'Changes not permitted' behind BP number.

What's wrong? and How can I change ?

Newer way - go to transaction SM_CRM > Master Data > Accounts > search and select account > rename filed Name 1.

Hi Jie,

For Changing Organisation it is possible via TCode:PPOMA_CRM you can directly change the name of the Organization.

also if you wish to change BP assigned to the Organisation unit you have to carry out the changes from Transation type: BP and you shall get the Buisness partner no from Organisation Assignment itself

Also if you say you are not allowed for editing the Organisation Role Please check for Authorization provided to you which may allow you to edit the Organisational Model.

First, I apprecaite all of your answers, thanks you all very much!

Final, we found root reaon. BUPA_PRE_DA was used to change the BP's status to 'Stop' status, so we cannot do any changes for this BP. After we used BUPA_PRE_DA to change the BP's status to free status, this BP can be changed.

Hope this information will help those people who meet the same problem in the future...

Hi Jie,

Pls specify clearly wt u want to change and exactly where, u want to make changes in Organizational BP Number or just BP master data as name etc.

Make changes in name of Organisation from Basic data tab of org structure.

From Txn: BP u can change the data u want for particular business partner (BP) make cahnges and just save it.

You can change the name from Tcode:ppoma_crm.

Under Basic data of that particular org.

Hi,

There can be two possibilities, one you may not have authorisation.

Second, there may be a chekc that the BP which are downloaded from ECC need not be changed in CRM as in case of products.

TCode BUPA_DEL can delete this BP, is there any TCode to change/maintain/modify this BP?
