what can I do after IMPORT_PROPER error

I want update sp 09-15, now error occurs, I can't reset the queue status either:

You cannot reset the queue from import phase 'IMPORT_PROPER'

What can I do to rescue the system?

SE16,SE38 can't work.

Hi,

Reset the queue with function module OCS_RESET_QUEUE --> Test/execute --> Then give IV_TOOL as SPAM, then execute.

Again try to import.

This is expected as RDDIMPDP cannot be executed because of other syntax errors in the system...

Can you check the buffer status ad update in the thread using following command

tp showbuffer <SID> pf=<transport profile> tag=SPAM

go into client 000, go into SE38 and run RDDNEWPP

now, go into your active productive client (not 000, 001 or 066) and do the the same thing.

I'm sure that even SE38 will give shortdumps. The only way to recover is to check buffer and complete the import using "tp r3i"

What is the exact error text?

the netweaver runs on my notebook pc. I stopped it and run again in phase 'import proper'. But it runs for three days in phase : 'import all ...'. I don't think it can run successful.

Menu: Goto -> Import logs -> Queue

on red entries, click on the "paper with glasses" icon. cehck again for red errors and search SAP note with these keywords.

Try to find out the cause of the error.

start SPAM and check the queue import logs, drill up to the "red" log entries.

First try to import again. If the error is still coming then check the logfiles in the location /usr/sap/trans/log dir. Here you can find the cause of the error.
