Allocation of excise invoice number

The following error message has received from the end user.

" Error in allocating Excise invoice number interval

not found NUmber object J_1IEXCLOC".

KIndly provide the solution.

how do i find the object ?

hi Rajendran

Please maintain the number range for the group using the t code

SNUM for the object J_1IEXCLOC. enter the required excise series for the number range and check

In tcode: J1i9 enter the object: J_1IEXCLOC Click on Number range, Enter the series group you are using. Enter the number range as No [ ]+ year [2008] + from and to

Go to SNUM transaction maintain the proper number range intervals for the Object J_1IEXCLOC with the proper Series group.
