SAP XI Monitoring

We have need of Alerts for Queue in case if it goes to failure or reaches to certain limit (Number of mesage). The other need is to alert in case of any adapter failure. I have configured the Interfaces alerts but those are triggered only if there is message coming and failed. Any insight will be helpful.

Thanks,

Samir

You can also monitor adapters using Alert Management, but not queues.

CCMS can display adapter engine alerts if proper settings are configured, as well as tRFC & qRFC rules.

Please follow the steps mentioned in How-to Monitor XI/PI NW2004s or PI Configuration Guide for PI 7.1 version.

It is also possible to send Alert Management alerts to CCMS and send CCMS errors to Alert Management. You should decide which monitoring tool to use to prevent alerts from both frameworks.

HI Samir

You need to create rules for this in RWB -> Alert Configuration.

Thanks

That is already done, but its good for only the Interface message alerts, not for Queue and Adapter failures.

Hi

I think then you should consider CCMS that has more options for configuring alert. Like J2EE engine monitor that can raise alert for adapter failure. With standard max we can capture ERRTXT from adapter engine.

For Queue also you can consider CCMS

Check with this
