Hi experts,
We have a scenario in offline application where the same device can be used by multiple users. We are using SMP 3.0
As per client side data encryption (agentry 2.3),
When the user login changes, the previous data cannot be decrypted. This can cause an issue if the previous user’s production data includes pending transactions (those not yet transmitted to the Server)
Is it possible to encrypt data (through Agentry editor or agentry client installation) for
1. multiple users accessing same application with user specific data
2. multiple users accessing multiple applications with user specific data
and Is it possible without encrypting data?
Regards,
Nilesh
Nilesh,
You should really be looking to upgrade to SMP 3.0. I believe this issue has been addressed on this version.

Yes I believe it was addressed in one of the newer SMP3 SP

Hi Bill,
Thanks for your reply
As mentioned, we are using SMP 3.0 (SP 03) and planning to move to SP 11 (not sure if this issue is addressed in newer version)
