contract copy

Hello,

I am creating a follow up service order from an incident. The contract is correctly determined at the item level on the incident, through contract determination.

I have maintained necessary copy control config from -

(a) incident --> service order

(b) incident item --> service order item

(c) contract item --> service order item

The determined contract is not getting copied to the service order.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Hi,

Also maintain the copy control for Contract-->Service Order in SPRO where we Define Copying Control for Transaction Types.

I have also maintained copy control between transaction type

service contract --> service order

Do I need a custom copying routine for item categories? Do I need coding for copying the determined contract?

Hi,

Copy routine can be maintained but consider it as the last option.

Better try wih customising first.

Check whether the contract conditions r getting copied in ur service order.

If yes then the customising is completely ok.
