Rejection Returns in Cross Company STO

Dear Team,

We have the following business case which needs inputs from you.

Plant A creates Inter-company PO on Plant B

Plnat B creates delivers goods to Plant A with delivery against STO

Plant A finds rejections in the supply

Plant A in China

Plant B in Belgium

How Plant A can return these goods from China to Belgium.

can we use STO with returns 161 movement at Plant A

Then how delivery can be created and then after receiving the rejected goods at PlantB what is the process.

Hi,

You can use Mvt type 673 and 675 to control the returns process with shiipping via delivery in SD.

As you have created a STO using 645 and 643,you can use this movements to control the returns process.(Dont use the steps followed for returns to vendor funtionality).

Thank you Very much for your revert. Can you please elaborate the process. Is this return process will be done post the the receiving the goods thru GR?? Will the postings with movement types 673 & 675 updates the stocks in supplying plant as well.

Hi,

You have to follow the same steps used for creating a STO, but with Returns Po indicator at item overview.

673-two step procedure

675/101-two step procedure

Yes.It will update the quantity in the supplying plant once the goods are put-away using 101 in the respective plant.

Follow the steps followed for Inter cc STO..

Also you need to assign an order typr for your returns PO in SPRO.

SPRO--IMG-MMpurchasing-PO--Returns PO

NCR- is the delivery type for this type of returns,if processed through shipping/SD.

Hello,

With this process, to return stock with movement 673, can the receiving site be able to put the stock in blocked stock? (Not GR block) but in blocked bucket? The stock type setting in STO allows us to remove the stock in MIGO from blocked stock(damaged parts). we PGI using VL02N and expect that the stock will be put in blocked stock, but the system puts it in unrestricted stock. What is the function of field setting INSMK in the delivery - lips-insmk?

I am experiencing same issue where stock type is unresricted instead of blocked on the delivery LIPS-INSMK. Has anyone found solution to this issue? No luck in searching OSS so far.
