How Customs(HTS) regulation works

Hi,

In exports:

I understand that License Regulation in GTS will be triggered for sales orders/deliveries based on the delivering Plant's Country Code of sales order or delivery assigned to Legal Regulation.

How Customs Regulation works:

We assign HS codes toCustoms Legal Regulation:

How Customs export declaration will be triggered in GTS. Is this based on the delivering plant country codes in the Proforma assigned to Customs Legal Regulation or not.

The problem here is, i have company codes is having different ciuntry code and plants assigned to that company code is having different country code.

DO we need to assign company code country to Leg regulation?

Bit confused how it works unlike license regulation? Can anybody help me to understand

Thanks,

    Hi,

Always Company Code in SAP terms is equivalent to FTO(Foreign Trade Organization)in GTS and similarly Plant will be mapped to Legal Units.

we have License Determination and not License regulation and similarly we will assign HS codes only to Products specific to a Country Of Classification(LU)

    Regards,

    Vasanth.
