Warning message when releasing to Demand Management

Hi

When I transfer planning data to demand management for a product group using transaction MC75, I receive an error message "Material XXXXX Plant YYY is not provided for demand management". Error message is 6P526.

Does anyone know why I recieve this message?

hi,

What is strategy group you are using since for strategy 20 make to order there is no need of transfering it to the demand management.so could you write what is strategy grp.

Hi,

Planning strategy is 70, "planning at assembly level".

However, the most of the materials has planning strategy 70, but not only get the error message.

Please let me hwta is the material type u have mainatined in the materila master? Iguess you have maintained X0(EXTERNAL PLNANNING).

Hi,

No I had the ND as MRP type. That stopped the transfer to Demand Management.

Hi Lars

I think you have not maintained any planning strategy fot your material

thats why it is not allowing to transfer to demand management

i am not an expert but can predict this only as per my knowledge
