Crystal Enterprise Server X CD key recovery

Hi All,

I have called SAP customer support and jumped through all the hoops and ended up being told to try here.

I have a server that is about to die, and we have purchased and installed new server hardware to replace the old one. I have found that there is no documentation to be found anywhere on site (I have just taken over running the IT for this client).

I will need the installation keys for installing Crystal Enterprise X. The Key on the media is trial only. I know that this software is legit, but SAP customer service can not find any details on the company name (previous or current).

My question is: Is there a way to extract the details from the currently working server and apply to the new server so I can migrate everything across.

I have used such tools as key finder, and I was hoping that there was something similar that I chould use to extract the data?

Let me clarify, are you looking for the keys you used to install Crystal reprots on the old server.

If so, please login to Crystal Reports on the old server and go to Help --> License Manager

You can find the current key you are using for the product.

Try with this:

For a new key:

Request key codes for new orders via SAP Marketplace (SMP), will receive a download letter on new purchases providing them with their SMP login credentials. Using these credentials you can login and click in the "Keys & Requests" tab > Request a License key.

If your Key code does not work

You need create a customer message https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/message using component XX-SER-LIKEY-BOJ.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. I am actually looking for the key for Enterprise Server and not Reports.

I have found under the Start Menu, Crystal Enterprise Admin Launchpad, within this a Crystal Management Console. After logging into this I have found License Keys, opening this I find a key with (Product code) at the end. Is this all I need? Is there any other activation or codes required?

I have a registered copy of Crystal Reports V10 Professional.

I have lost the trail key for Crystal enterprise Express and need to install it. Where do i go about getting the trial key?

Hello Phillip,

you ger Trial keys from the SMP (SAP Marketplace) at http://service.sap.com you need a "S-User" to Login.
