Multiprovider Data Not Reflecting in Report

Former Member

Hi Guru's,

I Have one multiprovider which consists of following.

Info Cube - 2. ( Which Contains the Actual data ).

Master Data IP - 2.

Transactional Cube - 1. ( Which contains the planning data ).

we have 4 process chain which uploads data to 2 info cubes and 2 Master data.

Now the problem is the newly uploaded data to cube is not reflecting in the reports which is using the

Multiprovider.

I used 0S_RQMRC variable for 0INFOPROVIDER in filter area to get the latest plan data in report but its not helpful.

Whether i have to change the process chains or any other ways to get my data .

If any one have idea kindly share with me.

Thanks & Regrards.

RameshNarayanan.

Dear Ramesh,

Please check whether 'Request for reporting is avaiable".

Could you check the Infocubes data is checked for reporting...

Check wheather you are using aggregates on the cubes...without doing rollup you wont see the data.

Can you check the Multiprovider for Identification of the info objects...

Let me know if you have issues

Also you will be able to report on closed requests - for open requests you will have to disable cache...

Also by using listcube i could able to see my output for the paricular selection but not in report.

Hi Arun,

To see the last update data , is it compulsary all the multiprovider to be update. and i could not understand why the multiprovider not reflecting the same.

I am fetching the data by empid which is a identification for both actual and planning cube.

Actual cube daily update by pro.chain and still we are not using plan cube ( transactional cube ).

thanks alot.

Hi Mr.Arun,

The problem was solved by making the multiprovider query properties as follows.

1. Cache inactive .

2. No Parallel Processing.

Also i would like to know any impact by making the No parallel processing option.

Thanks to all .

Are you sure that, you are activating the requestes in cube after loading data in it ????

Ramesh,

Usually one common issue with reports on transactional infoproviders is that the reports must not use cache - disable caching for these reports in RSRT and check if the query returns the data.
