FTP sender communication channel on error going for "retry interval started" and hangs

Hi Experts,

In SAP PI 7.1 SP9 FTP sender communication channel on error going for "retry interval started".

After that channel status hangs and retry pooling does not happen.

Description:

For small time Interval FTP server is unavailable. Due to which FTP channel is going for error but getting stuck in "retry interval started" status.
Thereafter no status is updated for the channel.

Even though FTP server is available communication channel is not pooling.

Currently I have to restart the communication channel every time the channel goes for error.

Please suggest how this can be resolved

I tried with setting Connect mode to "Per file transfer" , that also did not work.

Hi Pankaj,

Did you maintain the timeout parameter in the sender file channel?? If not maintain the timeout parameter and try run the interface again.
