Importing data

After importing 9700 records in SAP MDM using the Import Manager GUI, I can see the data imported data using Data Manager(DM).

Is it correct at the time of seeing the imported data using DM, to assume that all imported data has been written and committed to the database?

Thanks,

Nicolas

    Hi Nicolas,

There is no need to assume no. of records imported.Check in the data manager, record mode, at the bottom right side you can see the no. of records in MDM or say database that were successfully imported.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Once the data is successfully imported using import manager the data is written and committed to database which is then also seen in DM.If you make any further changes in data using DM and saveit the same is reflected in database.in this case the only exception is if u check out the records and then make changes and say check in then only the changes are saved in database else if u say rollback the changes are discarded.

    Regards
