i need ur suggestion

Dear Friends,

we need certain infotypes(it0105(01) etc...) to be maintained for a applicant during applicant data is transfered to Master data our client don't want to maintain separately after the data is transfered to master data in pa30.

i have created a action type in pa40 with the infotypes that my client wants . is there any chance that i can maintain them in pb40 action itself.

Kindly suggest me.

Regards,

sai prasad

    hi

for the IT 105 subtype 01 you mean to create a user id , which any ways will be handled by TCODE hruser.

For rest of the subtypes you can write a BDC.

In the table V_T582A, the Column Applicant Infotype and in that the field Applicant DB Tab , enter the values as PB0105.

Added, ensure that, it is reflected in the menu of the Tcode PB30.

But before doing all these, try explaining to the user, that as a best practice, its ideal to maintain in the company logon credentials in the Master data against the employee and NOT against applicant. Also try explaining, that applicants will not be getting User ID for SAP Logon when he is still considered as an applicant in a general HR Process.

As per HR Processes in any organization, employee will get his SAP login only if he is hired in the organization and not before that.

    So try convincing them first.
