Can any please say some possible reasons of the following case u2013
>> We have a Windows 2003 Server with SP 2 + SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition with SP 2 for SAP B1 2007 B SP 0 PL 7.
>>Everything (using SBO from client sand-boxes, connection the Database engine form a remote computer, etc.) is working fine,
>>but when I try to connect the SBO company database from DTW it cannot show the company databases in its list of companies in the logon screen.
Connection to SBO common has failed error usually means user authorization problem. Check your B1 user license and make sure using right user name and password.

SBO License is proper u2013 professional licence & all licensees are assigned properly.
Another information for you (if it is helpful) u2013 in this particular I could not use the SBO Installation / Upgradation wizard u2026 I had to go into each and every folder then install / upgrade each and every components by the relevent setup.exesu2026
Have you used Windows authorization or not?

I have checked by SQL Server Management Studio that both the authentication working properly (windows authentication is just now configured by me now and restarted the SQL server).
But if I use windows authentication in DTW then an error - "Connection to SBO common has failed" is coming. On the other hand, SQL authentication does not give any error massage but does not populate any database.
For your kind information u2013 meanwhile this response I have re-setup both the DI API and the DTW which comes with SBO 2007 B SP 0 PL 7... Nevertheless its not working.
Have you checked option and Choose DB types?
Thanks,
Gordon
