new role creation with restriction

Hi guys,

i need a new role that is capable doing only some action buttons in a report,

kindly guid me to create a role.

Hi,

To create the roles you need to contact the Basis/ Security team at your place. They will create the necessary authorisation.

In your ABAP report then you need to create the authorisation objects assigned to certain buttons which you need to activate for the role created.

hi,

TO create a Role use Transaction PFCG,

here you need to Enter the name of the role ,

also you can copy role from existing one.

In Authorizations TAB maintain the details like company code ,cost center etc then Click GENERATE.

so yiu have created a profile for the Role., Save.

In USERS TAB enter the Users you want to add that role.

Save it and click USER COMPARISON .and SAVE the role.
