Storage loc determination in STO

Hi,

I have a requirement.

We take return delivery of damaged materials at depot & stored in a particular St.Loc(XYZ).These materials are sent back to mfg plant by STO process.While doing STO delivery (ME21n--VL10B-VL02n)of these materials system should take XYZ St.Loc by default.Need help in this regard.

Hi

It can be achieved through standards

In STO order type UB for intra company In ME21N after inputting selling plant and receiving plant if you want the receiving storage location to get determined automatically without manually entering can be achieved

In MM02 select the receiving plant in the organizational data and in the MRP2 view in the procurement tab there is a field for storag location for EP in that if you enter the storage location which you always want to get determined automatically and save

Create a purchase order and see

I have tested this

You should start from your delivery type. Check the storage location rule there (user exit is also available). For example, you can use a storage condition for the determination in your delivery.

Hi

from depot to manufacturing plant you are doing STO(intra company)

Your manufacturing plant is the customer in this case

While doing ME21N in the supplying plant you will enter your depot

Receiving plant is the manufacturing plant and near to that Storage location is there

it is a mandatory entry in purchase orders

In this manually you have to enter

Automatic determination i think has to be achieved thro userexits only
