Hi...

From Enterprise structure you need to have:

Client -> Company code -> plant -> storage location.

From configuration:

Follow the Menu Path: IMG -> Enterprise structure -> Definition -> Logistics - General -> Define copy, delete, check plant.

Follow the Menu Path: IMG -> Enterprise structure -> Definition -> Materials Management -> Maintain storage location

The heiarchy goes like this

Company code -> Plant -> Storage location

We need to define a storage location and assign that sloc to plant .

the plant will get attached to company code. In the customization

SPRO we need to define and assign these in the following menu path

Definition:

Plant:Enterprise structure->definition->logistics general->define,copy ,delete check plant

Sloc: enterprise structure->definition -> materials management->maintain sloc

Assignment:

Plant:Enterprise structure->Assignment->logistics general->Assign plant to company code

(transaction OX18)

Hi Prabhu,

Generally it is preferred to create plant by copying from the template plant. You may choose the relevant plant from your Org elements and proceed with copy function and perform necessary changes.
