HowTo - Create dynamic sum?

Hi all,

we got the following issue:

We got a query producing a report looking like this:

................Jan..............Feb...............Mrz............xxx............Total

Char x......50................30..................20..............xxx...........100

Like you can see, we put a column in summarzing the values for each month (formula is like: jan + feb + mrz...).

But the customer now wants to be flexible in selecting the months. He goes displaying and hiding several months like he just wants to. And he also wants the total to adapt accordingly. So if the customer is only displaying Jan + Feb, the "Total"-Value should be 80...

Does anybody know how to handle this in the formula? I tried with NOERR(X) but this is not working with Key-Figures...

Is there a way to check whether a key figure has been removed from being displayed or not?

(note: we are using Bex 7)
