Appraisal document status change

Hi,

We are looking for a procedure to change appraisal status from 'In preparation' to 'In planning' Status in background. Could someone provide some inputs for the same?

Does someone know of any FM which would help us change the status.

Or any BDC sample?

Hello Rashmi,

In case where you need to move document status from In Preparation to Inplanning technically means that you will provide necessary header data at the time of document creation.

Anyway if you want to do it.Follow these two steps:

1) Read the next available status configured in document by reading correctly infotype 5026.

( This operation depends on your status flow configuration and your business requirment ).

2) Use function module 'HRHAP_DOCUMENT_CHANGE_STATUS' Passing the button ID which cause required status change.
