Email in SRM BP record (BBPMAININT)

Hello All,

Is it possible to suppress or make optional the field "E-Mail Addresses" in the SRM BP supplier record? The option Configure Field Attributes per Business Partner Type does not appear to work when you set any of the fields to optional as web transaction BBPMAININT insists on the email address to be entered in.

Any advice greatly received.

Did you try the "Configure Field Attributes per BP Role" option. This should help.

Dear Kathirvel,

"Configure Field Attributes per BP Role" option was also tested for field numbers 115 (Address: Internet Mail Address) and 146 (Address-Independent Comm. Data: Internet Mail Addr) but when customisazation is set from Not Spec to Optional Entry, this does not work either on web screen BBPMAININT.

Hello Pradeep,

We have tried this method with screen variants previously but issue is that for the field that I want to make display only, transaction SHD0 only allows you to make the field invisable and does not provide ability to make it optional only,.,....
