Make -To-Order

HI to All

Can anybody tell me in brief about Make-To-Order Scenario,and configuration part, particularly integration part with PP and MM

It is basically a manufaturing unit for which we are taking this scenario

    Dear Mani,

    For MTO, maintain strategy group or mrp group as 20. 
    
    Check the mrp group parameters is t.code OPPR.
    
    In mrp 3 view maintain checking group as '02'.
    
    Then there is no PIR(planned independent requirement) for 20 strategy, you have to create a sale order using 'va01'.
    
    This will be displayed in MD04 screen.
    
    When mrp is run , planned order is created , this is converted into prod.order & then confirmed & GR is done.
    
    This stock is stored with reference to the sale order no. This stock can be delivered only for this sale order.
