Removal of Quality Stock of Previous Period.

Hi Experts,

I am facing a problem, which is described below:

I had to activate batch for a material. For it all the quality had to be removed for activating batch management.

There was some quality stock for the material in previous month. Without checking the month, I cleared it in current month and used movement type 562 to make the stock zero.

I tried activating the batch, it gave an error. When I checked in MM02, plant stock, the quality stock still lied. I need to clear it now. However, I am unable to find a way for it as the stock in the current month is zero.

Please suggest.

hi,

If possible then follow the following way:

If you have to just activate the batch management, then first transfer it to other place...and make the current stock stock...and then activate the indicator for the batch management...after activation you can get back the stock...

Hi,

First please cancel the material movement by which you set the stock level to zero in current period using the posting date of the original posting date.

After that using MB1A + 201 + posting date on the last say of the previous perios you can eliminate the stock that hinders you from the change.

MB1A + 202 can be used to reset the stock level after the change.
