Hi,

We're using stock transfer order with delivery, my question is, how to create partial quantity delivery for a stock transfer order? for example:

I have a stock transfer order as follows:

100-100 100.00 pcs ...

I'd like to create two delivery as follow:

delivery 1: 100-100 3.00 pcs ...

delivery 2: 100-100 7.00 pcs...

Kindly please advise.

Regards

Hi

I do not think you can split the qty automatically in two deliveries.

I thin k the only way would be to generate 1st delivery then change the qty in delivery to 3 & then again create delivery for the balance qty using same transaction VL10B.

Hi,

Thanks for you advice.

I tried to generate 1st delivery then change the qty in delivery to 3, then tried to use VL01B to create another delivery but the system could not find another 7 quantity, why? Kindly please advise again.

it will be possible if you allow partial delivery indicator in the customer master record

Hi tt,

What is the error message you get when you try to create the second delivery?

Please check the customer master that is assign to the plant (you deliver to). In XD03 on shipment tab there's a section to control partial deliveries, please check it.

Please also try to use VLSP where you can create the delivery for 10 pcs and after that split the delivery as per your requirement. I hope it works in case of deliveries created with reference to STO too.

Csaba

Hi,

Thanks to all.

Yes I could change the delivery quantity, then post GI. But the problem is, I could not create

second delivery via tcode VL10B as no any contents displayed via VL10B with same purchase order once I have created delivery for the same stock transfer order.

For the delivery split, I could not check because we did not config any split profile for it.

Kindly please advise again.

Dear tt,

(customer master that is assigned to the plant)

You didn't tell anything about the customer master settings. Did you check it?

I'm not saying that this is responsible for your problem but maybe it is worth a try...

Thanks,

Csaba

- You should be able to do that. Check the settings in your purchase order item's delivery tab. Is the delivery completed? It should not be. Partial delivery has to be allowed. Please check these first and if needed, make changes to the customer master.

Hi,

1) Create STO

2) Create Outbound delivery in VL10B. While creating this delivery, in the field "Cumulative quantity" change quantity to 3 and then click on "Create delivery in the Background"

3) Create another Outbound delivery in VL10B for 7 quantity.(Not in VL02N)

In the receiving plant PO history will have 2 delivery notes created against which the plant will have 2 post twice GR.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi,

Thanks for your advices.

But the field "Cumulative quantity" was not allowed to change via Tcode VL10B, what's the problem?

Does release strategy affect it?

Kindly please advise again.

Regards.

Hi...

It is possible when u r creating outbond delivery that time you change the quantity how much you want to do, and again you can delivery the balance qty.
