The message I send to SAP Service Marketplace----
Dear Expert,
I received an email from 'SAP License Audit China'.
I hope you can kindly help me to count active sap user. I have some
questions here:
(1)Do I need to calculate active sap user in PRD and XIP system only?
How about ECT(our QAS) and DEV system?
(2)How to calculate developer licence?
(3)There is a SAP user U123 in PRD and QAS system. Do you think it is
one license or two?
Thanks!
Jason

SAP's reply----
Dear Customer,
Following the answer for your questions:
1. All the systems you are using need to be measured. For test and
development system, only developer user will be calculated.
2. Please classify developer users as SAP Application Developer User in
User Classification, then running the system measurement. The number of
SSCR key will be taken as reference.
3. Each person needs be licensed once only. And all test users in Test
or Development system will not be calculated as chargeable users. But,
if this user is working in PRD as a professional user and in DEV as a
developer, we will count both.

My latest question:----
Dear Expert,
At the begining of our SAP project, Our implement consultants registered a couple of SAP Application Developer Users at SAP
Service Marketplace. Definitely, they got the SSCR keys.
Now here is my question:
Can I delete them? If I can, How to proceed?
There are some ABAP programs developed by consultants. If I delete their(consultants with SSCR keys) SAP accounts in DEV
circumstances. What affection or risk we have to consider?
Thank you in advance!
Jason
Hi Jason
You can delete the SCCR key from the Marketplace, just make sure that you delete the entry in DEVACCESS table as well. Then lock the user and if you have defined him as Developer in the Contractual User Type ( In SU01 -> License Data) remove the developer tag and keep it blank. ( That's the practice we follow since we have so many developers)
Please note that if you don't remove the entry from DEVACCESS table, the user can be recreated and and can be used a developer.

Kaleem

Hi Jason,
All the SSCR keys that you obtain from SMP, are stored in a table called ADIRACCESS. You should be able to edit thsi table (though I am not sure about this). Also for the purpose of system measurement/user measurement, use the TCode /nUSMM.
Anyways after a release upgrade, the keys are all gone from ADIRACCESS. I do not think if you change the contenst of the table, it will make a difference as you have alreday modified the objests.

Hi Hemanth,
Thank you very much.
You let me know something important I never know.
I can list the ABAPer SSCR keys at SMP. Even I can delete them, because there is delete sign at the first column. I am not sure if I can delete them because I don't know the affections or risk.
SAP didn't reply me while I am waiting for a whole day. Hope more friends can help.
Regards!
Jason
