How to change parameter on Linux when i want to install NW7 for oracle

I have get the guide of install NW7, that below list of documents are required:

Master Guide

Installation Guide

OSD

I have question of what is OSD? OS meaning is Operation System, I want to get what D naming with?

and how to get OSD docment form service.sap.com or sdn@sap

Could any one to ask the questions? thanks!

Where did you get the information about that "OSD"?

I have get 'OSD' from my partner, I just want get confirmation with OSD by myself, So i have post the question in here!

OSD might relate to Conifguation with OS. when plan to install the NW on the OS you might can get how to setting the parameters in OS. That my colleague provide.

I want to try to install the NetWeaver in SUSE10. But i cant find the config info with OS.

The operating system dependent configuration are in the installation guides for the application and in the corresponding installation notes.

e.g . notes

and more.
