Report Date in Asset reports

Dear experts,

Can you please explain me how the 'report date' is affecting the asset reports in SAP?

I have to develop a new custom SAP asset report. But I have no idea how should I get the report date.

Please help.

Just analyze (or use in your program) logical database ADA, in its Database Program, lLook for parameter BERDATUM usage.
